Does the ircd server allow tor connection?

Greetings, i am trying to get ircd + weechat setup and i am using tor+proxy+VPN and it doesnt seem to connect… Any suggestions? Does it not allow tor connections?
If it does what is the commands/process to get it working?

I asked in DarkFi #dev channel on ircd. This is what they said:

simplest setup
Run tor daemon in background or in a terminal using:

sudo tor

Start ircd using:

torify ./ircd

This will route ircd traffic through tor

Thanks for checking into that for me. My entire system runs tor so its a pain to have to go around it lol
